GAME: Sat. Oct 31 5:30 pm KRC C1 vs C2 (Visitors) NOTE: GAME is at SENSPLEX SCOTIA not KRC

Remember to check the master schedule on a regular basis for any changes/additions.

Week of October 19th

Congrats to the Kanata Spitfires on their first regular season win!

The only hockey I have on the schedule for this week is a practice on Sunday as follows:

Sun. Oct 25 10:00 am Carleton U (Practice)

EDIT TO ADD: We've just been advised that picture day is on Sunday October 25 at 6:30 pm at the KRC. Coach Frank sent an email containing details and the order form.

Week of October 12th

Here is our schedule for this week:

GAME: Sat. Oct 17 4:00 pm Jack Charron C2 vs C3 (we are Home)

PRACTICE: Sun. Oct 18 6:30 pm KRC

*Manoj has asked that you please bring a cheque for $150, made out to KMHA Bantam C2, to the game on Saturday.

*Karen has confirmed our participation in the Future Sens game on November 7th. Each team must sell 80 tickets by October 25th - works out to about 5 tickets per player.

Week of September 28

Hello Spitfire parents and players! Looks like the season has gotten off to a good start, with last night's 5-1 exhibition game win against C3. Congratulations, boys!

To summarize last night's parents' meeting - we have agreed on:
- a $150 contribution per player
- 2 to 3 tournaments (depending on availability of sponsorship dollars)
- seeking entry to the Brockville tournament as a first choice for out of town (Nov 20-22)
- seeking entry to the February 12-14 Sensplex tournament
- participating in the Future Sens program, should a spot be available
- converting some practice times to exhibition games
- trading practice ice with other teams to result in somewhat less practice time, but full ice

Parents are encouraged to seek sponsors for the team; more info on this to come. Manoj will be putting together a team budget for consideration shortly.

We have received the season game schedule, which has been posted here. Please note that the paper copy is subject to change, your best bet is to consult this site in order to keep on top of any changes (which will also be sent to you via email).
